Description
The Hive wood-burning stove by HUUM is a modern take on a traditional sauna heater. The glass door lets you view the fire from inside the Sauna room. With the unique round design of the Hive heaters, the stove showcases the natural beauty of the stones, and the high rock capacity allows for a gentle heat with high capacity for steam. HUUM features the Hive Wood series and the Hive Flow series, based on the award-winning beehive design of the Hive heater.
The Hive Wood is available in two sizes – Wood 13 and Wood 17. The smaller 13 model takes 200# of rocks, and is suitable for rooms 202-459 cu/ft. The larger 17 model takes 300# of rocks, and is suitable for rooms 283-565 cu/ft. The Hive Wood 17-LS is available with an extended neck option for external feeding.
The Hive Flow is also available in two sizes – the Flow and the Flow Mini. The Flow Mini takes 230# of rocks, and is suitable for rooms 212-494 cu/ft. The larger Flow takes 330# of rocks, and is suitable for rooms 282-636 cu/ft. The Hive Flow and Flow Mini are both available with an extended neck option (LS Model) for external feeding. The main advantage of the Hive Flow over the Hive Wood is increased efficiency while burning, and reduced clearances allowing the heater to be placed in tighter locations.
Also available is a floor protective bedding, which can function as a heat shield for the heater to stand on. There is a small model – 20″ x 20″, and a large model – 22″ x 26″.
HUUM also provides a chimney flue kit in two styles. A chimney adaptor is available to go from 4.5″ to 6″ if you are providing your own chimney. A chimney mounted stone cage is available, which can hold 33 lbs of rocks (sold separately). Contact us for more information.
